Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Ever since my mum passed away 11 years ago of breast cancer, it seems nearly every person I know, have had a family member or a friend that has been affected by this horrible disease.. In recent months I/ my Family have been affected by cancer and it's relatives.... again! Just when you think it has passed you it comes by again and upsets everything and everyone!! All I want is for all the donations and the support into cancer research, to make a little more difference into those whose lives it affects . Personally I am/wanting to run this race, I need to get physically challenged to do this, so just signing up to race for life is a change for me... Let's get this on!!
