Tina's walking challenge for Cancer Research
I don't normally do this sort of charity fundraising but my recent experience of breast cancer has made me think again. I truly believe that we are getting very close to finding cures and identifying much better, less traumatic, treatment for cancer. So I have decided to sign up to the 10,000 steps a day in March campaign to contribute to beating this cruel disease as quickly as possible and, as an additional bonus, to get myself back to full fitness. I would really appreciate your sponsorship. Donating through this page is simple and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
CAUSE
Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
