My Story
All of us have known someone affected by cancer and this terrible disease has claimed, and continues to claim countless lives and leave thousands of loved ones behind. In July 2001, we lost our Dad to a prolonged battle with cancer and in 2010, Mum survived her own battle with breast cancer. Dad was a funny, kind and generous person who we miss dearly. Thanks to cancer research, the UK’s cancer survival has doubled over the last 40 years and around half of patients now survive the disease for more than 10 years. But, as more people benefit from improved healthcare and longer life expectancy, the number of cancer cases is expected to rise. Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
