Almost everyone is affected by this awful disease one way or another; many of us have a family member or a close friend fighting it at the moment. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. I am not an athlete yet set to raise funds to give a fighting chance for everyone. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
