My Story
I am signed up to do race for life for two people. I am only doing a 5k. The first person is my grandad who passed when I was young from lung cancer. The main person is for my mum. She had cancer a battled it and won every time. We lost her in February 2014 but that was to a stroke and a brain hemridge. I know family and friend that have faced cancer at some point. I am doing it for my beautiful mum and grandad. To challenge myself Also I didn’t know that my grandad from my mum side died from cancer too

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
