2019 Royal Parks Half Marathon
Sun 13 Oct 2019 - Sun 13 Oct 2019
As a terrible fantasy football manager, I have yet again come bottom in my draft fantasy football league, earning myself the title of Cheif Turd (not a spelling error, at least not anymore). Not only that, but as forfeit for such a dire performance I am having to run a half marathon, which as many of you know, is not my idea of a good time. I hate running. On top of that, I have to run it in 1hr 55mins or under, which is quick enough for someone who has never done any distance running and for the cherry on top, I am also going to be running it in a turd emoji fancy dress outfit. So on Sunday 13th October, I will be taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London, which despite the above, should be a great day out, a good challenge and probably a good laugh for those that wish to come and support. However, I also thought I couldn't take on this challenge, without raising some money for a good cause and with members of my family, friends and colleagues being effected by cancer, I couldn't think of a better cause than Cancer Research, who's amazing work is helping to rapidly improve the cancer survival rates for those diagnosed. So please take a minute to donate, whether in support or laughter at the daft predicament I have got myself in to, in support of shared family and friends experience or in support of your own family, friends and colleagues. Thanks!!
