My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our fundraising page. This is our third annual Thomas Gainsborough School Race for Life. We are very proud to have raised £4,500 in our inaugural event and £7,500 last year. This year, with your help, we are aiming to raise even more. It means so much to us all, staff and students alike, as unfortunately cancer has touched so many of our lives. Cancer is happening right now, which is why we are fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Please sponsor us by signing our sponsor forms or by donating to our page today. If you wish you can tell us which student or member of staff you are sponsoring by writing their name in the comment box when making your donation. Of course you are very welcome to simply sponsor our school as a whole. Thank you so much. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.

CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
