The Pank-athlon 2020

Over the next 30 days, 13 members of the 'Pankhurst' team in the Manchester office will be running, walking and cycling as far as they can to raise money for our charity of the year, Cancer Research UK. We've deemed this 'The Pank-Athlon' and competing in this will be Josh, Beth, Arun, Nic, Chloe, Greg, Lorna, Lewis, Andy, Catherine, James, Piers and Jade. We wanted to push our limits so we're targeting travelling the same distance from Manchester to Timisoara (Romania) where another of our global offices are based. That's right. 1,890km. In 30 days. Each £ raised will help Cancer Research UK achieve its mission to ensure that 3 in 4 people survive cancer by 2034 and to do this we are supporting the amazing work they do in Manchester. We will be helping to drive research in Manchester by supporting the Re-Write Cancer Campaign, which is bringing life-saving research back to its home next to The Christie Hospital, after the devastating fire in April 2017. Our support will help to fund the new state-of-the-art facility so that scientists, researchers and patients can combine forces to change the face of cancer forever. In Manchester, there are around 2100 cancer cases per year, and around 970 cancer deaths. We want to change that. At Join The Dots InSite Consulting, our staff are passionate about doing some amazing things to help us to support Cancer Research UK.
