My Story
The Nags have been fundraising for Cancer Research UK for over ten years and raised an amazing £200k. To date they have played rugby, canoed rivers and climbed mountains and now they plan to take on two very challenging treks! The Wight Walk and The Malvern March have been created to continue our fundraising in 2023. The Wight Walk involves a 70 mile path that goes around the Isle of Wight. In various groups we are planning to complete all or part of the route over three days. This is no mean feat as individually it would involve a near-marathon every day for three days. Ventnor RFC have kindly allowed us to use their club as base camp. The Malvern March was created as an alternative to those who couldn't get onto the Island. This 20km walk around the Malvern Hills will be completed on the same weekend and all the money will go into the same pot for Cancer Research UK as always! We haven't set a target as we really have no idea how this will go. If you are sponsoring one of our team, thank you, our motivation is lost loved ones and our success depends on your generosity.

CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
