Fundraiser with music and auction

Sat 23 Mar 2024 - Sun 24 Mar 2024

In memory of

Pauline McCullagh

My Story

Thank you for visiting this fundraising page in memory of my mum Pauline. As those close to my family know my mum sadly died in 2021 after she was diagnosed with lung cancer. Mum loved life and following her diagnosis we wouldn’t have shared the precious time together we did without funding for cancer research. I miss mum greatly and I’m incredibly thankful to those who have offered support since her death. Where possible, I’ve been trying to fundraise for Cancer Research UK to help the valuable work they do. I’ve previously ran a half marathon and in the last two held fundraising events with live music and charity auctions. Overwhelmingly, thanks to generous support from friends and family the two events have raised over £10,000 for Cancer Research UK. The third event is happening on Saturday, March 23 at The Whisky Jar, in Tariff Street, Manchester city centre. The fun will start at 6pm with the aim to keep the party going late into the evening. The format will include music, an auction and raffle as well as a cake sale raising money for the charity. Prizes and auction lot items include A two night glamping stay Signed football shirts Festival tickets Theatre tickets Football tickets Restaurant and bar vouchers Mum loved going to town with her friends and having a dance so an event like this feels like a fitting thing to do to celebrate her life. I'm hoping it'll be a really fun night out which will help a good cause. I’d love to see as many people there who can make it. Everyone is very welcome to have a dance and raise some cash. On the night, entry will be £10 (this can be paid in advance through this page) which will give those attending three raffle tickets. If you can’t make it but would still like to buy raffle tickets (or additional on the night) they are on sale for £2 each or three for £5. If anyone would like to donate any raffle prizes or auction lots please feel free to email me at craig.anthony.jones@hotmail.co.uk. Your donations would be happily received. Thank you again for supporting the fundraising efforts. It would be lovely to see lots of you at the party on Saturday, March 23 xxx
