Malcolm Gilson & Jean Hutchinson
My Story
Both myself and James have had the unfortunate experience of losing someone we love to cancer. James lost his mum, Jean Hutchinson. And I lost my grandad, Malcolm Gilson. We normally do the race4life every year but it's been on hold since the pandemic. Now that it's back on, we're ready to take on the 10k again. Using the royal "we", due to some disabilities I struggle with I will probably spend most of the race in a wheelchair which James will heroically push around the course, but I'd like to try walk some of it. We know that money is tight, and it's difficult when so many people are asking for donations. This is why we've set out target as low as possible, because even £50 will make a big difference. As per the norm I will be dressing up, and as its on Halloween I'm very excited to find an outfit. I will probably dress up as a witch! Thank you so much for helping us and supporting us.
