My Story
My hair is coming off. It's been six years from the last time I cut it. Its going to be a very short hair cut and with be donated to the princesses Trust. Sadly mum lost her fight with cancer but the family will not stop raising money to help research and maybe help someone else's family member. About this event: 1k and 5k events (walk, jog or run). Open to men, women and children. The event starts and ends in the Market Place in the pretty Lincolnshire market town of Louth. The route takes in the beautiful Hubbards Hils Park and has great support along the way. Fancy Dress is always encouraged and spot prizes are given. On the day: Join us in the market place for a warm up, then the children's (under 12's) 1k will start at 10am, the women's 5k starts at 10:30am and finally the men's 5k at 11:45am. As always the event will be followed up with an afterparty at the Kings Head on Mercer Row with live music from local bands. Get involved: Sign up today and raise funds to help us beat cancer sooner. Early bird offer applies and as of the 1st June prices for the men and womens race will increase to £15.00. Tie those laces because every step you take will be beating cancer.

CAUSE
Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
