My Story
We were all very excited to hold The Great Christmas Pudding Race this year after a 2-year covid enforced break especially as this would have been our milestone 40th race. The impact of the current economic climate however, has affected the charity sector in a huge way and The Great Christmas Pudding Race has sadly proved no exception. Regrettably, after much discussion, we have had to make the difficult decision not to hold The Great Christmas Pudding Race this year. If you would still like to make a donation to Cancer Research UK through our committee, please do so on this page. As always, thank you for your continued support and we are sad that we won't be seeing you in Covent Garden this December. The Cancer Research Aid Committee *** DECEMBER 2022 EVENT POSTPONED *** The Great Christmas Pudding Race 2022 will take place on Saturday 10th December in Covent Garden, London. This event is organised by The Cancer Research Aid Committee, a volunteer committee on behalf of Cancer Research UK. A unique festive fun run held each December where teams of 4 - friends, family, colleagues or a mix - battle it out to win the acclaimed Christmas Pudding Trophy whilst helping to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK. Competitors in an array of fantastic fancy dress outfits - imagine Santa Claus, Reindeer, Superheroes, Minions and more - will take on the challenge of a fun filled festive obstacle course complete with giant inflatables all whilst carefully balancing a Christmas Pudding on a tray - not such an easy task we can promise you! If you are looking to mark the start of the Festive Season with a one-of-a-kind fun run event and raise money for a brilliant cause which is close to many of our hearts - then The Great Christmas Pudding Race is the event for you! If you aren't able to enter a team this year or join us on the day, please help us to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured by donating here. Thank you for your support.
