My Story

So many of my own family members have been involved with cancer, some we’ve lost, some have beat it and some are still battling! Im doing this race to help my grandad who’s currently trying to get rid skin cancer from parts of his head and ears, about to go in for yet another op, I’m so proud and want to help in anyway I can, he knows I’m proud and I know he’s got this! With this said on the day of the race me and my work colleagues will be racing and remembering all that have been effected by this illness. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.

Skin cancer

Around 37 people in the UK are told they have malignant melanoma (the most serious form of skin cancer) every day. Over the last decade malignant melanoma incidence rates have increased by around a half (49%) in the UK. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to treat skin cancer.
