In January this year, our sister Lynsey was diagnosed with breast cancer. If you know our sister, then you'll know how strong, determined and extremely stubborn she can be. In true Lynsey fashion, she nicknamed the lump "Bob" (as we don't use the 'C' word) and made it her mission to get Bob "evicted".
Lynsey underwent surgery shortly after her diagnosis, followed by radiotherapy. As a family, we have been blown away by how strong and positive she has been throughout the last 6 months. Her strength and courage has pulled us all through and words will never be able to express how proud we are of our Wonder Woman.
On the 20th July, we will all be taking part in Race for Life to raise as much money as we can to beat cancer for good. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK with 1 in 8 women being diagnosed. We want to do our part to help the amazing research that goes into beating cancer sooner.
