My Story
The Beacon (all sites in Folkestone and Walmer) will be taking part in the official school section of Cancer Research UK's Race for Life on Wednesday 8 June 2022. Depending on restrictions at the time, we'll either be all 'racing' together or maintaining our social distancing by taking turns to complete laps of the school grounds class-by-class, attempting to keep the relay going continuously throughout the school day. As usual, all pupils and staff are invited to wear something pink - but this is not compulsory! PLEASE SPONSOR US! Thank you!

CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
