My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. Along with my CenturyLink colleagues, we're walking the Thames Bridges, from Putney to Tower Bridge, to raise money for Cancer Research. Not climbing a mountain or running a marathon, but still a 14 mile challenge. You may not know, my mum was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer about a year ago. It kinda brings it home to you. Whilst she's been lucky in many ways (diagnosis of this stealth cancer is hard, hers was found by accident, her treatment has rendered the cancer dormant), I'd rather that she hadn't gone through that at all. As for the many people who weren't so fortunate, this is for you.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
