My Story
Cancer affects almost every one of us, from immediate family members to our friends. Having seen close family members suffer with this terrible disease, where possible I support fundraising activities to help find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates. As part of this year's fundraising activities I’m going to attempt 100 push-ups a day throughout April to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
