My Story

2 years ago on 5th May 2017 I lost my best friend, my confidante, my world to Myeloma. Multiple myeloma is a rare form of cancer (1% of malignancy) characterized by excessive production (proliferation) and improper function of certain cells (plasma cells) found in the bone marrow. It was so sudden, unexpected and so unfair. My Papa was my hero. If me running the 10k Race for Life is going to help in anyway to raise money or awareness for this type of cancer or any for that matter then I will run it 10 times over. Cancer is ruining lives. Lets beat cancer together.
