My Story
I'm fortunate enough to have never experienced cancer myself however there are some people that I hold close to my heart that have, these individuals are all truly amazing and inspirational. To my Angel in the sky Grandad Olly, I race for you! A man who fought his battle till the very end, a man I couldn't be more proud of, a man I looked up to and admired, a man I will miss every day of my life, a man I have the honour in calling my grandad. To my beautiful sister in law dani, I race for you! An unbelievably strong beautiful woman that not only fought and beat her cancer she got diagnosed whilst pregnant which meant she would have to deliver her baby 6 weeks early so she could then begin treatment, she then had to deal with undergoing her treatment whilst juggling her home life, a premature newborn and her daughter just starting primary school. Dani you to me are a real life superhero. Just 1 of these can be challenging on it's own let alone all of them at once, I am so unbelievably proud of you and what you have achieved and overcome. To my cousin Lee, I race for you! Not only did you beat cancer you overcome all the side effects and issues caused by treatment. Not only did you achieve this you did it at an age where you should have been able to enjoy life. You are a real life superhero! You are strong, kind and have a heart of gold, you would do anything for anyone and I couldn't have chosen a better Godfather for my children. To my B.F.G I race for you! You are someone I look up to and admire, you are a truly genuine kind hearted man who's love is irreplaceable. I couldn't imagine life with you not in it! You are strong, determined and a fighter. You've have got this!
