My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page April 2025 1/2 Million steps I love to keep fit and active, but during my chemotherapy I have found that I have let Breast Cancer start to get the better of me, my cardio has dropped so I am setting myself a challenge each month while I go through my chemotherapy So the challenge for April is to do 1/2 million steps, and to raise money for this brilliant charity On NYE I was told I had invasive Triple Negative Breast Cancer, luckily it had been caught quite earlier. Not having been touched directly by cancer before it came as a huge shock, but I am seeing and feeling only the positive side of this journey- my amazing, incredible and supportive network of family, friends, gym family (love them Ladies) work colleagues. I want to give back something to cause that is helping me fight this cancer and give hope that one day no one will have to go through this journey . In the last 50 years, Cancer Research UK’s work has helped double cancer survival in the UK. But we need to go further, faster. Donate today to help bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
