Most of us have seen the effects of cancer, either directly or through a family member or friend. Apparently 1 in 2 of us will be diagnosed with cancer in our lifetime. Early cancer detection, health promotion, screening programmes and treatments have improved outcomes over the years however, there is still more we can do. As if dealing with cancer alone isn't enough, one has to also deal with the after effects... both physical, emotional, relationships, families, fertility and even friendships... I am doing this 10K shine walk as my small contribution to help fund the good work Cancer Research does. Your support would mean the world.
