My Story
On 8th March 2017 heaven gained a wonderful angel! My wonderful Mother lost her short but courageous battle against lung cancer! I now know personally how devastating this horrid disease is, not only for the person suffering with cancer but also for family and friends. My Mum was a wonderful women full of life, warm compassionate and always went out of her way to help others. In her memory and everyone who's been affected by cancer i wanted to give a bit back and try and make a difference and hopefully one day find a cure. Along with a very good friend Nicky, who lost her godmother this year to lung cancer and our Mascot Winston we will be running the Cancer Research 5K race for life at Old Deer Park in Richmond on 4th June. We are not runners at all and have been training almost every morning and are determined that we can do this!
