Shine Night Walk London 10k 2021
We're taking part in Shine Night Walk to help beat cancer
On Saturday 25th September; Mrs Pugh, Miss Saunderson and Miss Randall will be taking part in the London Shine Walk for Cancer Research. We have chosen to raise money specifically for Leukaemia after one of our Nursery children was diagnosed in June 2021. He has been the bravest little boy and is doing amazingly well with his treatment 🦸🏻♂️. If you would like to support us by donating that would be hugely appreciated. The money that we raise will help support Cancer Research UK’s research into new treatments, so that more people beat Leukaemia. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.There are around 1,900 new children's cancer cases in the UK every year, that's around 5 every day. Leukaemias are the most commonly diagnosed cancers in children. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s ground breaking work. Five-year survival rates for leukaemia have more than tripled in the last 40 years. But despite this progress, around 4,600 people still lose their lives to the disease every year.
