Shine Night Walk London 2022 - Full Marathon
1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s ground breaking work. Donate to my Giving Page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. My daughter and I signed up for the Shine Walk Marathon in London on the 24th of September to raise awareness and money for Cancer Research UK. One of Ewa’s grandmother died of breast cancer at 53 and her other grandmother (my mum) was diagnosed with breast cancer 7 years ago having mastectomy. By walking the marathon distance we want to celebrate my mother’s winning battle with cancer and memory of my lovely mother in law who never got to see her granddaughter. Help us to raise awareness and money to help fund studies and researches.

CAUSE
Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
