Team Rach

Message from the team - Steve, Catherine, Rachel, Uma, Clare, Will, Jo, Jane, Gill, Rowan and Natalia. Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. On 5th September it will be a year since the formidable Rachael Bland died of triple negative breast cancer. Rach was amazing at everything she did. She was a BBC 5 Live presenter and created the award winning podcast You, Me and the Big C which has really changed the way people think and talk about cancer. She was a much loved friend and colleague, and together with her husband Steve, a team of us will be attempting to do a Tough Mudder 5K on 8th September. It’s fair to say we’re not elite athletes and even Rach probably would’ve looked a bit of a state after doing one. It’s a far cry from her marathons and triathlons but we’d like to do our bit and raise as much money as we can for Manchester Beats Cancer. Anything you can donate will help honour the memory of this brilliant woman.
