Thanks for taking the time to visit this fundraising page. We are Tom, Hannah, Laura, Lucy, Seb, Jess, Faye, Bri, Cassie, Rachel, Nic, Anthony and Vicki and we are Team Malala. Cancer affects everyone. Some of us have lost friends and family to cancer, and we have also lost two dearly loved work colleagues - Marilyn and Sandy - to the disease as well. So we would like to raise as much money as possible to help out Cancer Research and would welcome any donations. Thanks
CAUSE
Manchester Fire Appeal
Following the fire at the Cancer Research UK (CRUK) Manchester Institute in April 2017, Cancer Research UK has joined together with the largest single-site cancer treatment centre in Europe, the Christie, and the University of Manchester to build a world-class cancer research facility on the site of the destroyed Paterson Building. This partnership expands on the existing one between these organisations. The new research facility will bring together the entire spectrum of cancer research – from discovery through to prevention, early detection, survivorship and living with cancer.
