My Story
Our mission to support Cancer Research UK continues! After making serious waves at the 2024 Sea Angling Classic, the UK’s first all-ladies sea angling team has decided to continue their journey! We first came together to compete in one of the UK’s most prominent sea angling competitions, a we have now chosen to extend our mission with Crewsaver. So what have we got to come? 17th August - The one mackrel challenge! The team is back and they are taking part in a fun day of fishing in the Solent as we continue to raise vital funds. 14th September - The 24-hour fishing challenge! Our good friends Mike Cave, Steve Foulis, Blue Shift Fishing, Shacky Angler, Mark, Danny Brind, David Wilkins and the crew at Maverick are hosting this incredible event. This wonderful team of people are representing Crewsaver over 24 hrs of intensene angling all in aid of CRUK. 13th - 22nd September - Southampton Boat Show! Want to see the pink lifejacket in person? Come on down and meet our retailers and see it for real. Also, take the opportunity to visit the Boat Shop team and see our wondeful boat on the water. 11th October - Shine Night Walk! The team from Rods and Ribbons will be venturing out on a 10K walk through Southampton wearing our pink lifejackets. Walking for anywhere between 1.5 to 3 hours, we will be ready to represent Crewsaver. 18th October - Wear it Pink Day! An annual tradition at the Crewsaver HQ. With lots of activities, bake sales and lots more, the full team will be doing everything they can to raise even more money. Our journey is far from over! One of our stunning limited edition pink lifejackets could be yours - all donations are welcome and if you donate £100 or more we will send you your very own pink lifejacket.
