We're taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner
My Story
We are 'Team Couch to Cocktail Bar 10k' ... a sparkling mix of mothers and daughters - Debbie Gibbs, Debbie Giddens, Natalie Spendier, Anna Webb, Elaine Webb and Laura Webb. We are good friends, who like to get together, sit and chat and enjoy the occasional cocktail! We also, like most of you, know too many people who have been affected by cancer at some point in their lives. Inspired by family and friends who currently have cancer and are in treatment, those who have happily overcome cancer and those we have sadly lost, we decided it was time to get up off the couch get our trainers on and do the Bournemouth 10k Race for Life. We hope to raise some money to help save lives by running/walking/hobbling from Bournemouth Pier to Boscombe Pier and back again in time for a cocktail together looking out to sea. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
