My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. The chances are, you have already been affected by cancer, whether you have lost a loved one, a friend or know someone who is already in the biggest battle of their life. If you haven't, it is more than likely you will be at some point in the future. On January 1st 2017, I will be holding off the booze for 31 days. By doing this pretty insignificant challenge, which quite frankly my doctor would think I need to do anyway, I hope in some small way that I can help make a difference somewhere along the line for those who are in the midst of a challenge like no other and prevent this terrible disease affecting our loved ones in the future. If you can help, I couldn't appreciate it enough. I know this is a very 'tight' part of the year given the splashing of cash for our Christmas period, and also many other charities to support including many friends no doubt partaking in Dryathlon themselves. But even the smallest donation would help. Please dig deep and donate now if you can. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
