Auntie Sue and Nan Cerette
My Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. I lost my auntie Sue on the 7th of July this year, and my nan Cerette in 2018, both to lung cancer. They were kind and beautiful people who didn't deserve this cruel disease. For that reason, every donation to my fundraiser will go directly into the research of lung cancer. PLEASE share my fundraiser, and if you can, donate - to help bring forward the day when cancer can be cured. *Donations can be made anytime before the 15th of September, at which point the fundraiser will close*
CAUSE
Lung cancer
Each year more than 43,500 people are diagnosed with lung cancer in the UK. We urgently need to drive progress so that more people survive their disease. Cancer Research UK is at the forefront in lung cancer research and is funding various projects to tackle the disease head on. This includes the TRACERx study, Cancer Research UK’s largest investment into lung cancer to date. This study has already transformed our understanding of how lung cancer evolves and is continuing to shed light on how to prevent, detect and treat the disease.
