Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m going to walk 100 miles in October to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Like many, Cancer has hit my family both recently and in the past and I saw this challenge as an opportunity to give back and say thank you to all the wonderful people who have supported and helped us all during the times where we've needed it, and also raise money to go towards the ever evolving research that is being done to help save lives. I do appreciate right now that financially life is a struggle but if you can spare £1 to help towards my fund raising I will be most grateful. Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
