I am running race for life in memory of my late Grandad who sadly passed away due to prostate cancer. Cancer can affect anyone and my own mother had a near miss when she was diagnosed with skin cancer but thankfully she has now been given the all clear.

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
