My Story
I'm braving the Cold Water Challenge in November in the knowledge that cancer impacts so many people at any age . I’m thinking of two very special people In particular today https://m.facebook.com/LoveForLilee/Jean describes the heartbreaking reality of terminal cancer in infancy . Beautiful Lilee Jean lost her brave battle with a brain tumour as a toddler , but leaves of legacy of hope and love. My amazing super dad / grandad extraordinaire is alive today due to the incredible advances in radiotherapy success rates, but is now facing an ongoing battle against this nasty disease. No pressure to donate , but let’s stand with the countless millions who face cancer in their lives, their families and their community. If I can escape the house I shall brave the sea, if not it’s an icy shower or bath daily for me!!! Here’s to much hilarity and kicking cancer where it hurts- with research and compassion for those affected.x
