My Story
This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer by raising funding for Cancer Research. This is roughly 4 miles. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in October just gone and thankfully my case has a positive outcome. Luckily, I caught my cancer early enough. I had 2 operations in Nov & December to remove the cancerous breast and reconstruct it, with a couple of lymphnodes also removed to be safe. Thanks to 2 fantastic surgeons, the most caring nurses and amazing support from close friends/family, a few months of recovery and pure determination to beat this horrible disease, I am ‘cancer free’ and back on the road to getting back to normal. Please regularly feel your assets ladies, have those mammograms if of age, smears. Those of age do those free bowel faecal sample tests. Gents, have those prostate exams and keep regularly feeling your jewels to ensure you know what’s there and what’s not. Please see your GP if something doesn’t feel or look right, don’t be put off by COVID, some things can be caught early enough to be ‘cured’. I did, and thankfully am. Any donation amount will be wonderful, thank you xx THANK YOU Tarn x
