Tamsin Morrison’s Night Shine Marathon for Cancer Research

I am doing the Night Shine Marathon on 22nd September 2019 to raise money for Cancer Research UK. I am supporting research in pancreatic cancer, which is poorly understood, on the rise and often diagnosed late. We still have work to do to improve its poor survival rate and a way to go in understanding this complex organ. I’m ready to do my bit. I will be doing a 26 mile night-walk starting at Southwark Park. We finish at Old Billingsgate, passing some of London’s famous sights along the way. Doing Gastrointestinal surgery is not enough for me; I’d like to give a bit more, I like a challenge and fighting cancer is near to my heart. I’ve not attempted anything close to a Marathon before and those who have worked with me, know I’m not a lover of night shifts - help me!
