My Story
Cancer. What an awful disease. What a horrible experience for both the diagnosed and the families and loved ones. I lost my mum to cancer when I was 21. The hospice in Windsor was amazing. The way they nursed and cared for her and supported us has always stuck in my memory. Over the years we have seen other family members, Aunts, Cousins, grandparents all hit by this illness, sadly all lost their fight. What if a cure could be found. What if an Aunt could still be alive. What if parents did not have to lose their child. What if my mum has not died. We can help change that “what if”. We can change it to they have survived. They have been cured. Without donations from people like us. People who care this may never be the case. We may forever lose the people we love. When a small donation may help save generations of our loved ones - the gift of time and the gift of life. I am the unfittest person about. I have committed to this and yes it is scary as it will be all of you I am letting down if I don’t succeed so please donate. Please make the effort worth while. Even the smallest of donations help. The more people that donate the more people I have to do this for. Thank you for reading this story and see you at the finish line.
