Tahera's Race for Life

I am not the fittest person around, the only running I do is for the bus/train every morning and my diet is balanced until I'm standing on a weighing scale - then things are not so balanced ;) BUT my entire motivation and strength comes from a personal cause.... This is firstly for my dear sister, the strongest person I know - who at a very young age is dealing with two primary diagnoses but still manages to put up a strong front and be brave. This is for my grandmother and all of my cousins who have been diagnosed with this horrible disease in the last 2 years and finally, this is for all of our patients for whom it is an honour to be at the end of every call or even be there to give a hug after an appointment no matter how good or bad the news is. This is for all of us who are going through this, for us who are watching someone go through this and for us who are working to help the research into cancer care.
