I took part in Race for Life, on 24 Oct 2021, to raise money to beat cancer
My Story
Me and a group of lovely ladies came together, via Race for Life, in honour of our dearly departed sister and friend Jacque, and other friends and family, who have sadly lost their battle with Cancer. Our Race (it was a swift walk really, LOL), on 24 Oct went really, really well. The weather held (no rain) and the sun shone brightly for us (a beautiful message from above, I believe), and the 'Jacque, All For One" team made it round the 5K course in 1 hour, and I’d like to thank each and every one of you personally for supporting our team. When last I checked, we had raised over £4846 (+Gift Aid) as a team which we couldn't have done without the support from all of you. So from Kenyah/Pauline/Sharron/Kimmi/Janis/myself - we THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! Together we can beat this!

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
