1 month without alcohol to help bring an end to the evil that is cancer, not a hard choice.....

As those that have the amazing and wonderful pleasure to know me can vouch, I enjoy the odd alcoholic beverage (a small glass of sherry on a Friday). However, believe it or not I will be once again tackling the Cancer Research UK Dryathlon to raise as much money as is possible for Cancer research. For those that have maybe not heard of the campaign, I am basically taking on the impossible of not drinking any alcohol for the whole of January 2017.

So, whilst I make a joke of giving up alcohol for one solitary month; it is an unfortunate and saddening fact that Cancer touches nearly all of us. Both of my parents have had and thankfully overcame Cancer, but sadly so many don’t.

When I undertook the Dryathlon in 2015 I doubled my original target of £150, so this year I have increased my target to £300 and I really want to smash this, anything you can donate is fantastic.
