My Story

"Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I decided to do this firstly in memory of my Dad who didn't survive his cancer, but my sister and friend has which is brilliant news, this is also for good friends of ours who are currently fighting Cancer with such bravery. I also thought that exercising everyday after two hip replacements (one 5 years ago and the other 9 months ago) is hard yes, but comparable with someone fighting Cancer - just thinking about what friends and family have been through - I want to do this for them Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK"

CAUSE

Bobby Moore Fund

Bobby Moore was just 51 years old when he died. Shortly after his death in 1993, Bobby’s widow Stephanie Moore OBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund to raise money for pioneering bowel cancer research. Since the fund was set up , bowel cancer mortality rates have fallen by over 30%. However, with 46 people losing their life to the disease every day in the UK, we still have a long way to go.
