I'm running this year's Race for Life to raise money and beat cancer sooner!
My Story
Now I'm typing this out I realise how crazy it is... At the time of writing this (March 2019) I can't run more than 2km without walking. But after one of my morning walk-jogs, I decided that this is not only an amazing way to raise money but also a brilliant personal motivation. I have exactly 15 weeks, which should be plenty of time to train, but I know will fly by!! This year I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, and I think it's fair to say we've all been affected by this horrible disease in some way.
