I'm taking on a Race for Life (Pretty Muddy version!)to raise money to beat cancer!
In memory of
Doris Browne
My Story
After fundraing over the years for various charities I have decided to raise for a cause close to my heart, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life ‘Pretty Muddy’ to raise money and save lives! Cancer has had a big impact in my life, as I’m sure it has for many of you and those you care about too. I lost my amazing nan, Doris Browne, after a long battle to cancer in 2018. My mum was then diagnosed shortly after with cancer, however with the amazing work of the NHS, support from many charities and her feisty personality she kicked cancers ass! We would not have had such an easy time of it if it wasn’t for the charities that work to support hospitals, patients and loved ones, and those who conduct research into the disease. That’s why Cancer research needs to continue their great research to be able to battle this disease. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.

CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
