I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer

It is a number of years since I have taken part in ‘Race for Life’ (walking). Many of you will know that since then there have been times when even the thought of walking 5K was too much for me. This year I am taking part again and am planning to jog at least some of way so this is a real milestone! Please consider supporting me by donating to Cancer Research UK.

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.

Race completed! Ran about a third of the way and walked the rest. Unexpectedly met up with some friends I used to work with at the Breast Unit. Was great to see them and catch up. Thank you for all your support and sponsorship!
