My Story
In the past I have done a total of three Race for Life events all 5k distances. This year I thought I would give myself a challenge and do 10K. Anyone who has seen me run will know, I'm not fast and in no way am I pretty (not during the actual run that is!) but knowing that I am helping to make a difference will get me round. Cancer is happening right now and affecting so many people, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
