Shine London 2019 - Full Marathon
My Story
We are completing the Shine London marathon! We have both been affected by cancer in different ways, and we want to take the opportunity to raise money specifically to help detect cancer early, and support research into new ways of beating cancer. We would be so grateful for your support and neither of us are athletes or have done anything like this before. This is a cause very close to our hearts. Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
