Bedford Pretty Muddy 5k 2019
I'm taking on a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money to beat cancer sooner and as a fitting tribute my Mum.
In memory of
Irene Brown, my Mum, who died 35 years ago this year.
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. There are few people whose lives haven't been affected by cancer at some time, a family member, a friend, work colleague or neighbour and I feel that a fitting tribute to my Mum would be to complete this challenge and raise money to continue the fantastic work being done to find better treatments and hopefully a cure for cancer. Not only that, but I'm sure if she could see what I'm doing she would laugh her socks off and hopefully be proud. I am not doing this on my own and have recruited friends to form "The Mudlarks". Between us, we are aiming to raise £1,000.00 and would really love you to show your support by sponsoring me or the team. Please dig deep for as little or as much as you can spare.
All Cancer Types
Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further. Help Cancer Research UK improve results even faster.
With Cancer Research UK Giving Pages more of the money raised goes towards beating cancer. Aside from the credit and debit card fees, every penny donated goes to Cancer Research UK.
All donations made to this page will automatically be transferred to Cancer Research UK.
