I'm fundraising to raise money for Cancer Research UK - Seven Tasks of Sue, my birthday fundraiser
My Story
Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. For my big birthday this year, I am hoping to complete 7 tasks over the year and asking friends and family to sponsor me, all money raised will be going to Cancer Research UK. I've chosen this charity because their mission means a lot to me. All of us have been touched by cancer and I and my family are no different. Charities have been hit by Covid-19 including Cancer Research UK as charity events cannot take place. Every little bit will help me reach my goal. My 7 tasks are: Cycling 70km, walking 70km over 14 days, baking 70 cakes, visiting the beach 70 times and swimming every visit! Swimming 70 lengths of my local pool, completing 70 small water colour paintings, planting 70 saplings. I've included information about Cancer Research UK below. The challenge will start after my birthday and I will post my progress on Facebook 😎 Together we will beat cancer.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
