Over the past year, I have known 5 people with cancer, and I'm sure that you all know people too.
Over the past year, I have known 5 people with cancer. 1 is surviving with cancer. 2 are undergoing treatment. 1 died after a short and brutal fight. 1 died after deciding she had had enough of the painful treatments. That's only in the last year - I've known more, and I'm sure all of you have too. I don't consider myself a runner, but I want to push myself personally for the cause. If you know someone who has ever had a cancer diagnosis, anyone who has ever seen what this disease in all its various forms can do to a person, known anyone who has ever had to support someone through that journey as a carer, please consider dropping some spare change this way. Thank you in advance <3 - Susan ----- Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
