When my friend and colleague Jane was having treatment for breast cancer, it made me think how lucky I was. I have got to 62 and touch wood have had no problems. As well as Jane, 5 of my other friends, Margaret, Christine, Lorraine, Sue and Elaine, have all, in the past, had treatment for breast cancer. The good news is, with the treatment and care they had, they are all fine and look great. My wish is that everyone who is diagnosed with cancer is that they get the best care possible and by taking part in the 10K I hope to raise as much as possible to make this happen. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
